"Tyte Rack"TM,  vehicle roof racks that are designed to fit universally to most cars.  Roof racks require a certain amount of upper body
strength in order to lift the cargo above the vehicle without causing injury to person or property.  In addition the TYTE rack, roof racks are
equipped with "easy on, easy off", car attachment design, which refers to the "do it yourself attachment procedure.   The attachment of a roof
rack and it's load is critical and beyond the control of TYTE rack mfg company, it's affiliates, vendors, or employees.  We do not install roof
racks onto commercial or private vehicles we only provide roof racks for self installation.
Helpful installation and end-user tips:
1. The Bike retaining sockets slide onto the load bar with the TYTE rack decal on them from each side of the bar, they will not slide over the vinyl
lettering without destroying it.  The Logo is intended to be facing the rear of the vehicle.
2. The towers are temporarily placed on the load bars for shipping.  We do this in order to make assembly easier for the end-user,  the towers
need to be detached and reattached in the best location for each vehicle, generally near the frames edge.
3. It is not necessary to over tighten the lower bolt of the post receiver, this will cause scratching to the load bar.  Just tighten it enough so that it
prevents sliding on the bar.
4. Minimum insertion length for a post is 1.6" depth
5. You may wrap the post receiver with one band of electrical tape to accommodate for larger bike frame sizes, this will also mark the perfect
insertion point for that bike.
6.  Each bike has a sweet spot for connection to the handle bars,  try a few different angles and you will see what we are saying.
7.  When using the straps, wrap them in the opposite direction so that they are fighting one another, this will prevent slipping forward or backward
off the load bar.
8. A locking device around the bikes frame, wheels and the racks load bar will help deter a thief.  It will not prevent a completely desperate thief.
9. Flipping the bike upward over head is the simplest way to load a bike.

If you have anything to add after usage please let us know so we can all spend more time playing and less time doing other stuff.  Thank you.
